Amaravati: Trunk Road, Layouts To Be Completed By 2027, says Narayana

Minister P. Narayana said the construction works at Amaravati were being executed at an accelerated pace since the NDA coalition government was voted to power. He said that the 350-km Trunk Road would be completed by March 2027, and layouts by the end of 2027. He thanked the farmers for their cooperation in capital building.
The minister participated in the gram sabha held by the CRDA at Tadikonda to acquire land for Amaravati railway line, inner ring road, capital radial roads.
Though land acquisition began in 2015 for the capital construction, works were launched in 2018. The works came to a standstill during Jagan's five-year rule, he reminded.

He said that the officials collected farmers' opinion on land acquisition and land pooling. A majority of the farmers voted for land pooling and had already submitted documents relating to 50 acres. The government had cleared all doubts of farmers regarding land pooling and returns plots would be given at a suitable place beneficial for the farmers. The officials would get 2-3 layout designs prepared and sanction plots according to the farmers' choice.
The minister said that the MLA Quarters blocks would be handed over to the government by July 25, MLC Quarters by August 15, and ministers' residences by September first week. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been inspecting the progress of works every fortnight.
