All Set in Vizag for 2-day CII Summit

Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada: Visakhapatnam is all set to host the 30th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit 2025, jointly organised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday to lead the state's trade and investment mission and personally oversee the arrangements to ensure the summit's grand success.
The prestigious event, themed “Partners in Progress - India's Roadmap to Viksit Bharat 2047,” will be held on November 14 and 15 at the Andhra University Engineering College grounds.

The summit is expected to attract over 100 foreign delegates and major industrial leaders, with Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth up to Rs.10 lakh crore anticipated across key sectors such as green energy, IT, electronics, automobiles, defence, space, and tourism.
Between Wednesday and Saturday, The Chief Minister will hold a series of meetings with company representatives to explore investment opportunities across the state. The event will include roundtable discussions, thematic sessions, project launches, and foundation stone-laying ceremonies.
On Thursday, Naidu will participate in the "Partners in Progress - India-Europe Cooperation for Sustainable Growth" roundtable at Novotel, focusing on sustainable innovation and European investment. He will also meet delegates from Taiwan, Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands, along with representatives from SPP Pumps Ltd, ReNew Power, Balaji Action Buildwell, Murugappa Group, Joule Group, and Hero Future Engineers.
On his arrival, the Chief Minister met Bharat Forge vice-chairman Amit Kalyani, who expressed interest in establishing industries in shipbuilding and electronics and proposed a river cruise project at Gandikota. Naidu highlighted tourism opportunities in Papikondalu and Araku Valley, noting that Araku Coffee has become a global brand.
On Friday, Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the 30th CII Partnership Summit, while Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal will open the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion. Prominent industrialists such as Yusuff Ali, Baba Kalyani, and Karan Adani are expected to attend.
Following the inaugural session, a discussion on "Technology, Trust, and Trade" will take place. Later, The Chief Minister will address the "AI for Viksit Bharat" session, highlighting how artificial intelligence can accelerate Andhra Pradesh's economic transformation. The state government will also sign an agreement with Singapore representatives to launch direct flight services between Singapore and Vijayawada.
In the evening, Naidu will participate in the "Reimagining Public Finance Summit" organised by the State Finance Department, meet the vice-chairman of the Sanjiv Goenka Group, and lay the foundation stone for a new Lulu Mall in Visakhapatnam. A gala dinner will conclude the day's proceedings.
On Saturday, the Chief Minister will lay foundation stones for projects by Raymond, Sri City, and Indosole and hold discussions with delegations from Bahrain, New Zealand, Canada, and Japan. He will inaugurate the World Economic Forum's Centre for Frontier Technologies and lay the foundation stone for a Google project.
The summit will conclude with MoU exchange ceremonies, followed by a press conference where Naidu will summarise the outcomes of the CII Partnership Summit 2025.
Officials expect the summit to mark a turning point for Andhra Pradesh's industrial resurgence, with large-scale investment commitments and partnerships driving the state's long-term growth vision towards Viksit Andhra Pradesh 2047.
