All Set for NEET-UG Exam in AP Today
More than 66,000 candidates to appear; Section 144 imposed near centres

Vijayawada: All arrangements are in place for the conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 across Andhra Pradesh today, from 2 pm to 5.00 pm. Over 66,000 candidates are expected to appear for the examination.
Candidates must report to their designated exam centres between 11 am and 1.30 pm. Entry will not be permitted after 1.30 pm under any circumstances.
Candidates are required to carry their NEET Admit Card, two passport-size photographs, one postcard-size photograph, and a valid government-issued photo ID. Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, calculators, and books are strictly prohibited inside the examination halls.
Each centre will have an observer appointed by the National Testing Agency and a senior officer of tahsildar rank to oversee the smooth and peaceful conduct of the exam.
Section 144 of the CrPC will be enforced around all exam centres to prevent gatherings and maintain law and order.
In Guntur district alone, 4,250 candidates will appear for the exam in 16 centres. District collector Nagalakshmi reviewed the arrangements.
A preparatory meeting with centre superintendents and observers was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Guntur on Saturday, chaired by district education officer C.V. Renuka and led by Kendriya Vidyalaya principal S. Vijaya Kumar.
