Ahobilam Temple Hosts Civil Defence Mock Drill
The drill was organised in coordination with the Ahobilam temple staff, police department, fire services, and medical teams. The objective of the drill was to demonstrate how various departments can work together effectively to save lives during emergencies.

Kurnool: A civil defence mock drill was conducted in the vicinity of the Ahobilam temple on Wednesday as per the directives of the ministry of home affairs. The exercise was carried out under the leadership of Allagadda DSP K. Pramod.
The drill was organised in coordination with the Ahobilam temple staff, police department, fire services, and medical teams. The objective of the drill was to demonstrate how various departments can work together effectively to save lives during emergencies.
As part of the exercise, awareness was raised among devotees and local people about the precautions to take during terrorist attacks, fire accidents, or other emergency situations. Police personnel were seen actively evacuating people from the roads and guiding them to safer locations. People were advised to stay indoors, switch off gas stoves and electrical appliances, and seek shelter in designated safe areas. The mock drill served as a valuable training exercise to enhance disaster preparedness and public awareness in the region.
