A case has been registered against the brothers based on the complaint filed by the deceased’s family

ANANTAPUR: A man was hacked to death outside Tanakal police station on Monday in Satya Sai district over an alleged elopement with a married woman.
According to sources, Eeswarappa of Marpurivandlapalli had an extramarital affair with the wife of B. Hari of Raginepalli and had eloped with her four days ago. Hari filed a missing person complaint with the police, who traced Eeswarappa and the woman to Gudur in Nellore district and brought them back to Tanakal police station.
As Eeswarappa stepped outside the station, Hari, along with his brother Chinnappa, attacked him with hunting sickles. Eeswarappa died on the spot. The woman reportedly fled the scene, fearing an attack from her husband.
Police quickly detained Hari and Chinnappa, while Eeswarappa’s family alleged that a head constable supported Hari in the attack. A case has been registered against the brothers based on the complaint filed by the deceased’s family.
