Absorbed Staff Welcome Special Service Rules For Aided College Employees

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Aided Colleges Absorbed Non-Teaching Staff Association has welcomed the state government’s issuance of G.O.Ms. No. 34, providing special service rules for employees absorbed from aided degree colleges into government service.
Association state president Nalam Uma Maheswari described the order as a landmark decision that fulfils a long-pending demand of thousands of absorbed employees across the State. She said the rules provide clarity on service conditions and offer administrative protection and job security to employees who had been awaiting a comprehensive framework.
According to her, the special service rules would strengthen confidence among absorbed staff and ensure greater stability in their careers. She said the order addresses concerns that had remained unresolved for several years.
On behalf of the absorbed non-teaching employees, Uma Maheswari thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for supporting the initiative. She also expressed gratitude to minister for education, IT and electronics N. Lokesh, the principal secretary of higher education and other officials for facilitating the formulation of the rules.
She expressed hope that the government would continue to address the remaining issues of absorbed employees.
