94.3% Andhra Pradesh Government Polytechnic Students Secure Campus Placements

Making the announcement, Technical Education director G. Ganesh Kumar said 9,145 students are in the final year of their studies in 82 government and one-aided polytechnics.

VIJAYAWADA: In a remarkable achievement, 94.3 per cent of government polytechnic students in Andhra Pradesh belonging to the 2024–25 batch have secured campus placements.

Making the announcement, Technical Education director G. Ganesh Kumar said 9,145 students are in the final year of their studies in 82 government and one-aided polytechnics. Of these, 8,630 students have got jobs in campus placements.

He explained that for the academic year 2024–25, campus placement drives have been scheduled from January 2025 to April 2025. Some of the campus placement drives are still in progress, while certain industries are yet to extend offer letters. He expressed confidence that by the end of April, 100 per cent of government polytechnic students are likely to receive job offer letters.

Ganesh Kumar disclosed that the major campus recruiters in polytechnics include Texas Instruments, Thoughtworks, GE Aerospace, Medha Servo Drives, Efftronics Systems, HL Mando Anand India, Wheels India, Amara Raja, Electro Steel Castings, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, L&T, WIPRO, Maruti Suzuki, TATA Advanced Systems, ITC, Kalpataru Projects, Ultra Tech, Nayara Energy, Schneider Electric, Coromandel International, GLASS Technology, Ramco Cements, Autoliv Inflators and MRF Tyres.

The Technical Education director said the highest package that a student has received is ₹9.02 lakh per annum (LPA), the lowest being ₹1.8 LPA. The average package is ₹2.2 LPA.
