93.2 Per Cent Qualify For AP PGECET-2026

Lokesh lauds successful candidates: Reports

VISAKHAPATNAM: The results of the AP PGECET-2026 entrance exam, conducted for state-level admissions into M.Tech and M. Pharmacy courses, were released on Thursday. Andhra Pradesh education minister Nara Lokesh announced the results via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

He stated that students can access their results on the council of higher education's official website or through WhatsApp at 9552300009. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the students who qualified for the admission test.

At the Andhra University campus in Visakhapatnam, vice-chancellor Prof G.P. Rajasekhar officially released the results CD and shared the performance statistics.

He said a total of 12,012 applications were received for the test, and of them, 9,990 appeared. Of them, 9,320 qualified, and the pass percentage was 93.29. More women appeared for the test.

According to the results, 5,526 women appeared for the examination, and of them, 5176 qualified with a pass percentage of 93.67. Similarly, 4,464 male candidates appeared, and of them, 4,144 qualified, with a pass percentage of 92.83.

AP PGECET convenor Prof. P. Mallikarjuna Rao noted that the entrance exams for 13 subjects were conducted smoothly from April 28 to April 30.

The vice-chancellor expressed his appreciation for the efficient and peaceful conduct of the examinations. Registrar Prof. K. Ram Babu was also present at the event.
