Visakhapatnam:Varied weather conditions are expected to continue across Andhra Pradesh for the next three days, according to Prakhar Jain, managing director of the state disaster management authority.
He explained that while certain regions will face intense heat, others will experience rainfall accompanied by lightning.
A trough currently extends from Vidarbha across Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu to the Comorin region, influencing these weather patterns. Under this system, light to moderate rains with lightning are likely at isolated places on Tuesday in districts such as Manyam, Alluri, Polavaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Konaseema, and East Godavari. Similarly, light rains accompanied by lightning are expected in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, West Godavari, Chittoor, and Tirupati.
Conversely, intense heat is forecast to persist in isolated pockets across other districts. Jain urged the public to take precautions against both the severe heat and the sultry weather.
