6 Kg Ganja Seized, 5 Arrested In Nandyal District
Police seized two kg of ganja from A1 Jinkala Maddileti of Boyilakuntla village, one kg from A2 Koduru Srinivas of East Godavari district, and one kg each from Dandaboyina Guruswamy, Shaik Abdul Nabi and Moghal Gaffar Beg, totalling six kg.

Kurnool: Police seized six kg of ganja and arrested five persons near Sirivella in the Allagadda Assembly segment of Nandyal district on Friday.
Disclosing the details, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pramod said the operation was carried out on the directions of district Superintendent of Police Sunil Sheran and additional SP Yugandhar Babu, who had ordered intensified surveillance against the sale and transportation of ganja in the district.
Acting on specific information, Sirivella circle inspector Ramu and in-charge sub-inspector Jayappa conducted a raid near Kasireddynayana Ashram on the outskirts of Boyilakuntla village. The police found five persons packing ganja for illegal transportation and took them into custody.
Police seized two kg of ganja from A1 Jinkala Maddileti of Boyilakuntla village, one kg from A2 Koduru Srinivas of East Godavari district, and one kg each from Dandaboyina Guruswamy, Shaik Abdul Nabi and Moghal Gaffar Beg, totalling six kg.
During interrogation, police found that Jinkala Maddileti had four previous ganja cases registered against him at Avanigadda police station in Krishna district, Delhi, Mahanandi police station and Nandyal Taluk police station.
