441 Andhra Pradesh Students Shifted from Border States
The N. Chandrababu Naidu-government said it does not want any student to feel abandoned. Accordingly, It has issued 40 emergency quota letters for train tickets and food for nearly 300 students.

Vijayawada: The state government has facilitated the shifting of 441 students staying in border states, like Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Gujarat, to the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in Delhi amidst the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Of these students, 158 have returned to their homes in AP while 283 students are currently staying in AP Bhavan. The students include: 130 from NIT, Srinagar, 120 from Lovely Professional University, 16 from Sher-e-Kashmir University and 10 from Lamrin Tech Skills University in Punjab. Twenty more students from NIT, Srinagar are expected to arrive at the AP Bhavan soon.
