Hyderabad: Four agriculture workers died and two others suffered injuries after a speeding tipper hit them in Kakinada on Saturday morning.
The occurred when they were crossing the road near Kovvuru Bridge in Kakinada rural mandal. They were going to attend Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) work. The injured persons were admitted to government general hospital at Kakinada.
The deceased have been identified as V Sathyavathi (60), Palika Krishnaveni (35), Chittemma (45) and Ch Annavaram (45). M Aruna Kumari and Palika Nagamani suffered serious injuries.
