Nellore: Three children belonging to different families from the same locality drowned in a water pond in Devarajapuram panchayat of Kuppam mandal in Chittoor district on Sunday.
The children have been identified as Gowthami, 7, Shalini, 6, and Ashwin, 7. They all belong to the scheduled caste community. A pall of gloom has descended on the village following the unfortunate incident. The mandal revenue officer (MRO) has been notified about the incident.
