24.50 Lakh Digital Attendances Registered for Mahanadu 2026: Lokesh
Lokesh expressed gratitude to party leaders, cadres, supporters and volunteers for making Mahanadu 2026 a grand success, describing it as a reflection of the collective strength and organisational spirit of “Team TDP.”

Vijayawada: Calling the resolution providing 33 per cent reservation for women a major highlight of the Telugu Desam Mahanadu 206, the party’s national working president N. Lokesh said on Friday that the proposal received unanimous approval and sparked discussions across the country.
This, he said, gives a true meaning to the Stree Shakti theme adopted at the mega event. A record 24.50 lakh digital attendances were registered through the MYTDP app during the two-day event.
Lokesh expressed gratitude to party leaders, cadres, supporters and volunteers for making Mahanadu 2026 a grand success, describing it as a reflection of the collective strength and organisational spirit of “Team TDP.”
The minister said the “first” Mahanadu held after his appointment as TD national working president turned into a historic success due to the blessings of crores of TD family members and the coordinated efforts of party workers across Telugu states.
“The Telugu Desam family has demonstrated what can be accomplished when everyone works together with commitment,” he remarked.
Lokesh recalled that the annual conclave, originally scheduled to be held in Nellore, was shifted to a hybrid format following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to reduce travel and save fuel. “ TD national president N. Chandrababu Naidu had always taught party cadres to convert crises into opportunities, and the same principle helped the party transform the challenging situation into a successful and innovative hybrid Mahanadu,” he claimed.
The education minister noted that unlike previous editions where party workers gathered at a single venue, this year every village and every household became a platform for Mahanadu celebrations. Yellow flags fluttered across the state as “cadres took ownership of the event and successfully managed responsibilities in 1,875 clusters statewide.”
