2 Held While Attempting House Theft
Alert from resident helps police catch accused red-handed in Ganesh Nagar

Kurnool: Kurnool police arrested two persons red-handed while allegedly attempting to commit a break-in during early morning patrols in the town.
The incident occurred at the Fourth Class Employees Colony in Ganesh Nagar, where police teams were conducting visible policing and routine night patrols. Acting on information from local resident N. Rajeswari about suspicious persons entering a locked house, the police rushed to the spot.
Led by One Town Circle Inspector Maruthi Shankar, the police surrounded the house and apprehended the accused while they were allegedly attempting the theft.
The accused were identified as Sheikh Khaja and Sheikh Alam Hussain, both residents of Budhawarpet in Kurnool.
The duo was taken into custody and shifted to the Kurnool Three Town police station for further legal proceedings. A case was registered and an investigation was underway.
