13 students from the Zilla Parishad school in Gopalpatnam, Visakhapatnam district, fell ill and were admitted to the hospital on Monday.

Visakhapatnam: 13 students from the Zilla Parishad school in Gopalpatnam, Visakhapatnam district, fell ill and were admitted to the hospital on Monday.
According to sources, the students experienced a strong foul smell from their classrooms, and the odour quickly escalated to a health crisis. The students experienced severe vomiting before collapsing and rolling their eyes.
Visakhapatnam district education officer (DEO) Prem Kumar in conversation with Deccan Chronicle said that the student received a foul smell due to spoilt eggs, which potentially triggered the health emergency. He stated that the students received medical treatment, including saline drips, and have been discharged in the evening and sent home.
