10 Tribal Students From AP EMRS to Meet President Murmu in Delhi
The itinerary also includes an educational tour of key national institutions and historical landmarks in the capital on September 16.
Vijayawada: Ten meritorious tribal students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) have been selected by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), under the ministry of tribal affairs, for an exposure visit to New Delhi.
The delegation, accompanied by a female escort teacher, will leave Vijayawada on September 13. APTWREIS (Gurukulam) Secretary M. Gowthami said on Saturday that the students would visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and Amrit Udyan, where they would meet President Droupadi Murmu on September 15.
The itinerary also includes an educational tour of key national institutions and historical landmarks in the capital on September 16. The delegation will return to Vijayawada on September 17.
Officials said the exposure visit was designed to inspire young tribal students towards academic excellence, leadership, self-confidence and holistic personality development by providing them with direct experience of the nation’s institutions.
