Jagan, Gov. congratulate ISRO after rocket launch

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan congratulated the team of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) following the successful launch of LVM3-M2 satellite, which placed 36 broadband communication satellites of a UK-based firm into orbit early on Sunday.

The Chief Minister wished the Isro scientists more success in their future endeavours.

Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan congratulated ISRO scientists on the historic launch of the heaviest rocket LVM3-M2/ OneWeb India-1 from Sriharikota. The Governor said it was a great achievement for the entire launch team of ISRO as LVM3, one of the heaviest rockets which can carry payloads up to 8000 kg has accomplished the orbit accurately on its first commercial mission. The Governor said the nation is proud of Isro and the mission has added another feather to the cap of Isro.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said, “ I convey my heartfelt greetings to Isro scientists who achieved a fantastic feat in space just hours ago and achieved a successful launch of 36 broadband satellites. I extend congratulations on behalf of Jana Sena to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the scientists at Isro, as well as technicians who placed India among the top nations in space research. I feel this achievement will instill confidence among our scientists at a time when the Isro is gearing up for the Chandrayaan-3 mission.”
