How do things work on the International Space Station

The ISS chiefly serves as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory.

The International Space Station one of the largest spacecrafts that orbits around the Earth at 17,500 mph; it is also the largest artificial body in the orbit and can be often seen with the naked human eye. Numerous astronauts have spent months on the ISS to study and explore the depths of outer space; this is the reason it is also known as a habitable artificial satellite.

The ISS chiefly serves as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory, which is used by Astronauts to conduct varied experiments related to numerous subjects.

The ISS interior consists of pressurized modules, external trusses, solar arrays, and other components and the first piece of the International Space Station was launched in November 1998. The ISS is big enough to accumulate two Boeing 747 jetliners or the width of five bedrooms! It weighed almost a million pounds on Earth.

Having said that, did you ever imagine how astronauts mange to live/ work on the ISS? Here is a video by NASA featuring famous Indian origin astronaut Sunita Willams, who demonstrates how things are done on the ISS.
