Chandrayaan-3 Rocket LVM3 Heads for Private Sector Takeover
The IN-SPACe has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Indian companies to undertake the full realization, operation, and commercialization of the LVM3 rocket

As the government moves to transfer its manufacture and operations to the private sector, India's heaviest launch vehicle, the Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM3), which successfully delivered the Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon, is about to undergo a significant transformation.
The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Indian companies to undertake the full realization, operation, and commercialization of the LVM3 rocket, marking a significant step towards increasing private participation in the space industry.
In India's space industry, the effort is a historic reform. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) hopes to concentrate its resources on next-generation technologies and ambitious future missions by transferring mature launch vehicle technology to industry. This will let private actors contribute more to the nation's expanding space economy.
