We are going hammer and tongs against the drugs mafia and targeting high-end restaurants and pubs who are patronizing this. By lacing some drugs in women’s drinks they commit unspeakable offences and most of these cases are not being reported.
I am going hard on the educational institutions where teenagers and hostels have become dens of drugs. They will face our ire.
We are going to close down petty shops peddling drugs. I don’t care for the arguments about hitting someone’s business. I am not concerned about employment. If they are selling drugs, I am going to close them down. The other day, when shops were being closed down, it was said that, we are targeting their livelihood. It is simple. They were peddling drugs and we were closing them down. Why do you do the damn thing and face our wrath? Don’t do it.
Now, drug peddlers take the pretext. They go to local representatives and bring pressure that they are poor. Why don’t they know about drugs? They are ruining society like rodents. They are nothing but rodents.
Misplaced sympathies are harming the morale of the police. You don’t want to be raided. You want everything nice and you want to be VIP in a raid?
The other day, people went to a shady restaurant and it got raided. I appeal to everyone to go to a respectable place.
More than Ganja, I am interested in cocaine, MDM, alketamine and these ecstasy tablets and other things which are more harmful.
Our officers are working closely with Narcotics Bureau. We are preparing the list of drug peddlers and we will open rowdy sheet against them.
No matter however mighty and however tall they are, they will be treated like criminals. Some of them are well-to-do. They travel in cars. Whosoever it is, if he is consuming drugs also we will take action.
Small minor inconveniences which we people are facing sitting in a drug addicted place, they say police put them to inconvenience. Who asked them to go and sit in the drug addicted joint which is being raided?
In fact, people should be cautious in patronizing places which enjoy such dubious distinction. There are a lot of places which can be raided. If you sit in such place, be prepared to face that inconvenience.
Let us make it clear. We are giving the benefit of not booking you. Don’t expect VIP treatment while sitting in a drug den.
People in the fashion industry, entertainment industry and children from high society let one thing be clear to you. We (police) will question you. We will do that when we come around.
