Rakesh Reddy proposes youth welfare fund
Warangal: BRS Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates’ constituencies by-election MLC candidate A. Rakesh Reddy said he wants to establish a ‘students and unemployed youth welfare fund’ by cutting his salary to fund it.
While speaking to persons at the meet-the-press programme held in Hanamkonda on Saturday, he said that he will strive hard to resolve all their issues. He mentioned that the Rakesh Reddy E-classes app is providing free coaching to poor students and unemployed youth who cannot afford expensive coaching centres.
“There are 32 MLAs for the ruling Congress party in the three erstwhile districts of Warangal, Nalgonda, and Khammam, and only two MLAs for the BRS party. A strong opposition is essential for democracy to flourish in the state,” Rakesh Reddy said.
“Before the elections, the Congress party promised to suspend G.O. Number 46, but even after six months in power, they have not done it,: Rakesh Reddy added. He further criticised Congress party graduate MLC candidate Theenmar Mallanna for insulting farmers, saying, “He would beat them with slippers if they demand the government to sanction Rythu Bandhu,” reminding graduates from farming families to respond through their votes.
Rakesh Reddy appealed to the politically aware people of Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda districts to elect a candidate who can question the government, making it easier to address issues affecting students and unemployed youth.
