Fight is Between NDA and Jan Suraaj, Reiterates Prashant Kishor
Asked about RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s recent poll promises, Kishor said the announcements made by him in the last five days “make no sense.”

Purnea (Bihar): Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Monday reiterated that the fight in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls is between the NDA and Jan Suraaj, predicting that the Mahagathbandhan will finish in third place.
Asked about Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav’s recent poll promises, Kishor said the announcements made by him in the last five days “make no sense.” “We are visiting every assembly constituency. Mahagathbandhan is in the third position. The fight is between NDA and Jan Suraaj. The announcements made by Tejashwi Yadav in the last 5 days have no sense at all. They are saying all this to become relevant and come to the race. Nobody is paying attention,” he told ANI.
Earlier on Sunday, speaking to reporters at an election rally in Madhubani, Kishor claimed that voters are moving beyond fear-driven choices between Nitish Kumar-BJP and Lalu Yadav-RJD, and are embracing a leaderless, caste-neutral alternative focused on Bihar’s youth.
“You will see a new political history being written in Bihar, and the era that has been going on here for 30 years—where people vote for Nitish Kumar-BJP out of fear of Lalu ji, and for Lalu Yadav out of fear of BJP—is coming to an end. A new alternative is emerging in Bihar, and that alternative does not belong to any leader, any family, or caste... It belongs to the children of Bihar. If the Jan Suraaj Party government is formed, no one will have to leave the state for livelihood,” he said.
Kishor also took a jibe at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, questioning his portrayal as the “Nayak of Bihar.” “If the people who have ruined Bihar are called heroes, then who is the villain?” he asked. “The people of Bihar know which people have brought Bihar to this state. They can’t be the Nayak of Bihar,” he added.
Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday assured voters that his alliance would deliver on every promise made. He took a swipe at the NDA, saying, “No one in NDA is saying anything except abusing Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.”
Hitting out at the NDA over unfulfilled promises, Yadav said, “What happened to the two crore jobs, Startup India, Make in India? We believe in doing the work. We are telling everything to the people about what we will do in the next 5 years.”
The Mahagathbandhan has declared Tejashwi Yadav as its Chief Ministerial candidate for the Bihar Assembly polls, with Mukesh Sahani of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) named as Deputy CM candidate.
Voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with the results declared on November 14.
