BJP’s development works will reflect on MLC by-poll: Gujjala
Warangal: BJP graduate MLC candidate Gujjala Premendar Reddy claimed that though his party does not have representation in 35 assembly segments in the erstwhile Warangal, Nalgonda and Khammam districts, but the BJP leaders are doing development works by bringing funds from the central government. He was speaking to reporters here in Hanamkonda on Sunday.
The graduate MLC by-election is slated for May 27.
Further dwelling upon the development works carried out by the BJP, Reddy claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the centre sanctioned funds for setting up of a railway wagon factory at Kazipet, the construction of Mega Textile Park on the outskirts of Parkal, besides working towards establishing Sammakka-Saralamma Tribal Central University at Mulugu. With the initiative taken by PM Modi, the historic Ramappa temple was accorded the UNESCO tag, he added.
The Modi government at the centre is committed to bring back the past glory of the Kakatiya dynasty. The central government has taken up the renovation work of the historic Thousand Pillar temple and 90 per cent of the work has been completed. The construction of the national highway from Raigiri to Warangal shows the commitment of our party towards development of the state, Reddy said.
Distribution of fertilizers on subsidy to farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi and transfer of money under the PM Kisan Nidhi scheme are some of the hallmark of the BJP government at the centre, he added.
Speaking about jobless youths and employees facing hardships due to G.O. numbers 46 and 317, Reddy said that the Congress party before going to assembly elections in the state had promised that it would suspend the aforementioned G.Os after coming to power in the state. But now the unemployed youths and employees were feeling cheated, Reddy said.
Earlier in the morning, Premendar Reddy along with BJP district unit presidents of Hanamkonda, Rao Padma, and from Warangal, Ganta Ravi Kumar, and state leader Errabelli Pradeep Rao and others participated in the morning walk to hold interactions with people at the Bhadrakali Bund, Warangal Fort and Ranga Leela Maidan.
Premendar Reddy further alleged that the BRS government which ruled for over 10 years and the Congress party which came to power making “fake promises” has “deceived” people especially the unemployed youths, students and employees. People will teach Congress party a lesson in the MLC by-elections by casting their votes in favour of the BJP candidate by choosing the first priority vote, he appealed to the people.
