Karnataka Vaibhav Venue Declared No-Drone Zone
Haveri DC enforces No-Drone Zone in Ranebennur for Karnataka Vaibhav event, ensuring security for VP's visit

Haveri: Ahead of the Karnataka Vaibhav event in Ranebennur, which will be attended by Vice President of India, Haveri district Deputy Commissioner has declared the event venue and surrounding areas as a Red Zone and a No-Drone Fly Area to ensure security and public safety.
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Dr Vijaymahantesh B Danammanavar issued an order enforcing restrictions under Rule 22 of the Drone Rules, 2021. The restrictions will be in effect from 6 am on Feb 6 to 6 am on Feb 8.
As per the order, the helipad (RTES College) in Ranebennur Rural limits, the event venue at Raja Rajeshwari College, and a 2 km radius around the area, including the bus stand, have been classified as red zone and No Drone Fly Area.
The move aims to maintain law and order and prevent unauthorized drone activity during the high-profile visit. Authorities have urged the public to adhere to the guidelines for the smooth conduct of the program
