Three Venomous Snakes Rescued From Well In Odisha’s Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: In a swift response operation, officials of the forest department on Friday rescued three venomous snakes from a well inside a residential premises in Odisha’s Sundargarh district.

The incident, according to reports, occurred in Goguaa village under the Bonai forest range, where the reptiles were discovered in a well located within the house of a local resident, Ishwar Chandra Sahu. Alarmed by the sighting, the family promptly alerted forest authorities.

A trained rescue team from the department rushed to the spot and launched a carefully coordinated operation. After several hours of effort, all three snakes were safely extracted from the well, one after another, without any harm to residents or the animals.
