Police arrested a poultry farm owner in Nalgonda for dumping dead chickens in Akkampally Reservoir; officials assured swift cleanup

Nalgonda: The police arrested R. Rayamallu, owner of a poultry farm in Vaddipally, for dumping dead chickens in the Akkampally Balancing Reservoir at PA Pally, Nalgonda on Friday.
Additional superintendent of police Mounika, speaking at a media conference in Devarakonda, said police took the complaint seriously and traced Rayamallu within two hours.
The arrest followed a complaint by assistant engineer (irrigation) Vamshi Krishna, and cases have been registered against the poultry farm owner under various sections.
Mounika assured the public that there is no need to panic, as police removed the dead chickens from the reservoir within an hour, and the revenue department has taken measures to sanitise the area.
