Staffer Held for Rs 7.5 Lakh Office Theft

Hyderabad;Shadnagar police arrested a supervisor, Kamal Kishore Varma, for allegedly stealing Rs 7.5 lakh from his employer, Raj Kumar, owner of Durga Steel.
On December 3, after closing business for the day, Rs 7.5 lakh was kept in a desk locker and the cabin centrally locked. Varma left at 7 pm, and the key was handed over to staff. The next morning, when the cabin was opened at 9 am, the cash was missing and the hard disk of the CCTV was removed.
Police after investigations aid Varma took the from a worker named Bablu, entered the cabin at night, stole the cash and took the CCTV hard disk. The entire amount was recovered from his possession, police said.

CM convoy car suffers tyre burst
Hyderabad: The jammer vehicle accompanying the convoy of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy suffered a tyre burst on Monday night, officials said. The convoy had reached Exit 17 of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) on the way back from the Telangana Rising Summit when the incident occurred. The driver halted the vehicle. After the tyre was replaced, it rejoined the convoy.
6 surrender for role in lynching, shooting realtor
Hyderabad:The six persons accused of murdering realtor G. Venkata Ratnam in Saket Colony on Monday, surrendered before the Hyderabad police on Monday. They had lynched Ratnam and shot him to make sure he was dead.
Police said the murder was an act of long-held revenge. The mastermind was identified as Chandan Singh, whose father was killed in a police encounter in 1999. Chandan believed Ratnam, who then worked as a driver for his father, had betrayed the family by acting as an informer.
Over the past month, Chandan tailed Ratnam, mapped his routine, and assembled a group to carry out the attack.
The six suspects surrendered to Goshamahal police and were taken into custody by the Jawaharnagar police even as investigators continue their probe.
