Police get two-day custody of Mastan
A court on Monday granted the Narsingi police two days of custody, from February 12 to 14, of Mastan Sai in connection with a cybercrime case.

Hyderabad:A court on Monday granted the Narsingi police two days of custody, from February 12 to 14, of Mastan Sai in connection with a cybercrime case. The police had sought custody for five days.
A woman had filed a complaint against Mastan Sai with the Narsingi police stating that he had videos belonging to her which were of a personal nature. The police during investigations found that Mastan Sai had 300 videos of women which he was using to blackmail them ad coerce them into having sex with him.
Cops nab Nepal cook for 15 thefts
Hyderabad:Jubilee Hills station house officer K. Venkateshwar Reddy on Monday said the police had arrested one Govind Bhandari alias Padam Bhandari of Nepal, cook at a fast food outlet cook, for 15 thefts here. Police said Bhandari had entered India illegally without a passport and worked with his associate Rajesh Chetri of Darjeeling, who is absconding.
Bhandari was arrested in connection with a complaint regarding a burglary in November 2019, at Road No. 18. Jubilee Hills. Bhandari and Chetri had also attempted to rob a bank. Bandari was recently arrested by the SR Nagar police who recovered 51 smart phones from him.
On January 3, the Jubilee Hills crime team on January 3 received information the west zone fingerprints bureau that Bhandari’s fingerprints matched with those collected for a crime scene, as well as with those relating to 14 other cases, said Jubilee Hills detective inspector R. Madhusudhan.
Woman murders sleeping husband
Hyderabad:A woman murdered her husband while he was asleep, allegedly as he had tried to stop her from meeting her lover. Medchal police said Lilipa late on Sunday night strangled her husband Munawat Ramesh and repeatedly attacked him on his private parts while he was asleep. Lilipa dumped his body in the backyard of her house in Kindi Basti.
Police said she was enraged over Munawat’s attempt to stop her affair. The couple was married five years back and has two sons and two daughters; the victim worked as a mason, police said.
