Hyderabad:The KPHB police on Friday arrested Kanaparthy Shiva, 41, a plumber from Kadiam in Andhra Pradesh, and recovered gold and silver ornaments linked to three burglaries, police said in a press release.
Shiva faced theft charges in Miyapur and a 2019 housebreaking case in Bachupally.
Based on a tip-off, police arrested Shiva and seized 15 tolas of gold and 30 tolas of silver, including chokers and other items. Shiva was produced in court and remanded.
Temple Wall Collapses Due to Downpour
Hyderabad:A 35-ft-long wall built alongside a temple in Puppalaguda in Narsingi, collapsed late Thursday night following heavy rain. The debris fell onto three adjoining houses, damaging one hut. No one was inside at the time, and no injuries were reported.
According to the Narsingi police, the wall was constructed by the temple committee for the temple’s protection. No case was registered as damage was limited and no complaint was lodge
