Hyderabad:Adibatla police arrested a gang that stole from function halls. The accused, Aruda, 38, and a 12-year-old minor from Madhya Pradesh were arrested while two of Aruda's brothers are on the run with 38 tolas of stolen gold.
The gang arrived in the city on November 12 and struck at several wedding functions. On Saturday, the gang was caught while they were in the middle of the act at a function hall, police said.
After a theft on November 14, Adibatla police registered a case and using technical evidence, traced the gang's activities and successfully recovered 38 tolas of stolen gold and a car used in the crimes.
