Hyderabad Police Seize 41 Kg Ganja, Arrest Three
Rs 40,000 in cash, a packing machine and a bike used in the offence were also seized

Hyderabad: In a joint operation, Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) team along with Madhuranagar police arrested three persons, including an inter-state drug supplier and seized 41 kilograms of ganja from their possession on Wednesday.
The accused, who were identified as Bala Hanthal, main supplier and native of Koraput in Odisha, Burra Srinivasulu alias Vasu and Gonugunta Abhisekh, both peddlers and residents of Kukatpally, were arrested red-handed while exchanging a bag containing 41 kg of ganja near Nalanda College in Vengalraonagar.
“Rs 40,000 in cash, a packing machine and a bike used in the offence were also seized along with 41 kg of ganja,” SHO Madhuranagar B Srinivas Varma said.
Further probe into the matter is under way.
