Film Bus Overturns at Pedda Amberpet; Traffic Disrupted Briefly

Hyderabad:A bus heading to a film shoot rammed into a divider and overturned at the Pedda Amberpet flyover early on Friday. Driver Beeram Vijay Bhaskar Reddy sustained a minor injury and Putta Beesanna, an electrician and the only other occupant of the vehicle was unhurt.

Hayathnagar police said the bus belonging to Big Pictures was travelling from Visakhapatnam to Manikonda when the incident occurred at entry to the flyover. Traffic movement at the flyover was briefly affected following the incident

Karimnagar Businessman Ends Life in Madhapur

Hyderabad:B. Anudeep Kumar, a 32-year-old businessman from Karimnagar attempted to die by suicide at a service apartment in Vittalraonagar on Friday morning, and later called his friend for help, Madhapur police said. Anudeep was struggling for money as those to whom he had lent money had not returned it.

The friend, Harish Kumar, residing in Bowenpally, rushed to the service apartment but Anudeep was dead by then. Harish then called the police who completed the formalities.

According to Madhapur inspector D. Krishna Mohan, Anudeep ran an architecture business in Karimnagar and Hyderabad, and had come to the city on January 5 for work.

In a purported suicide note recovered from the apartment, Anudeep stated that had lent money to several persons and was yet to receive it. “People had taken money from him saying they would be returning it after land registerations. This was leading to problems in his business and made him upset. He may have taken the step due to this,” the inspector said.

Anudeep also reportedly mentioned in his letter that his funeral procedures should be completed on the same day due to cold weather conditions. Anudeep was survived by his wife and a daughter.
