692 pilgrims to go for Haj from AP

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee (APSHC) met here on Friday to review the arrangements being made for the holy Haj during this year.

AP State Waqf Board CEO and Haj Committee executive officer (EO) Abdul Qadeer presided over the meeting.
Abdul Qadeer informed members of the committee that 692 people from different districts of Andhra Pradesh have been selected to perform the holy Haj during this year. Three flights will depart from Gannavaram Airport on May 27, May 28 and May 29 along with the pilgrims.
The Haj Committee EO said Haj pilgrims will have to report at the Gannavaram Airport six hours before the departure time of the flight.
DPO Nageswara Naik and District Minority Welfare Department officer Shamsunnisa Begum were among the officials who participated in the meeting.
