Don't have business in india, says Nawaz Sharif's son

The younger Sharif said his family does have trade ties with Saudi Arabia.

Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz Sharif has said that neither he nor any of his family member owned a business in India “We neither have business in India nor do we have any partnership with any Indian industrialist outside India,” he said.

Speaking in a Pakistani TV programme, the younger Sharif said his family does have trade ties with Saudi Arabia but added that these relations were not influencing the policies of government.

He refuted presence of Indian industrialist Sajan Jandal during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Raiwind on December 25.

Responding to the allegations of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, Mr Sharif said he owned property in UK with his earnings from Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, PM Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif has demanded apology from Imran Khan for accusing Suleman Shahbaz of accompanying premier Sharif Sharif on Saudi-Iran visit.
