The PSO then informed the Shaktipur police station over phone about the incident. He later lodged a complaint against the father-son duo. The police registered a case each against both on bailable charges. Kabir, meanwhile, went out for work.
A police team visited Kabir's house, arrested his son and collected the CCTV footage. Learning about Golam’s arrest, Kabir visited Shaktipur police station fuming and claimed that the PSO was never assaulted.
He accused Khan of entering his chamber without permission and claimed that his son forcibly removed him. In the afternoon, Golam was released on a personal bond following a meeting between his father and senior police officers.
