Two people drowned and another went missing after they were swept away while crossing the Koyna river in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district.
Two persons drowned and one was missing while crossing Koyna river in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, police said on Monday.The victims, residents of Bahda village, were crossing the river to return home on Sunday when the water level suddenly increased and washed away the three.
The local villagers raised an alarm following the incident.
Two bodies have been recovered while one was still missing, the police said.
