Vijayawada: Police have imposed traffic curbs in Vijayawada on Friday from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. in view of the unveiling of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue.
Vehicular traffic between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam and vice versa will be diverted from Ibrahimpatnam to G. Konduru, Mylavaram, Nuzivid and Hanuman Junction.
Traffic from Visakhapatnam to Chennai and vice versa will be diverted at Hanuman Junction via Gudivada, Pamarru, Avanigadda, Bapatla and Ongole.
Vehicles on the Visakhapatnam Guntur route and vice versa will be diverted at Budampadu to Tenali, Vemuru, Kolluru, Penumudi Bridge, Avanigadda, Pamarru, Gudivada and Hanuman Junction. On Hyderabad to Chennai route, vehicular traffic will be diverted from Medarametla to Addanki, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda and Narketpalli.
Vehicular traffic, including RTC buses, will not be allowed on Bandar Road from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and diverted through other routes.
