Singapore Firm Plans ₹43,000-Cr Data Centre In Chhattisgarh

The proposals include a Rs. 41,750 crore, 100 MW hyperscale data Centre: Reports

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh has made a strong mark on the global digital infrastructure map, securing FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) proposals worth Rs. 43,250 crores at the inaugural SING Forum 2026 at Singapore, officials said on Monday.

The proposals include a Rs. 41,750 crore, 100 MW hyperscale data Centre, the largest investment commitment announced at the forum, an official spokesman said.

Chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who is currently on tour of Singapore to attend the programme, handed over a formal ‘invitation to Invest’ to Singapore-headquartered Energy Capital Global Pte for the proposed project, the spokesman of the Chhattisgarh government said.

The proposed investment marks an important step in Chhattisgarh’s emergence beyond its traditional industrial base and its growing positioning as a hub for data, digital infrastructure, and new-age technologies, officials said.

The large-scale data Centre project is expected to strengthen the state’s digital capabilities and create new opportunities for technology companies and investors, officials said.

“The Rs. 43,250 crore proposals mark a significant milestone for the state and reinforce its emerging identity as a destination for digital and technology-led investment”, the spokesman said.
