Rahul Thanks BJP For Promoting I.N.D.I.A. Rally
Rahul Gandhi thanks the BJP sarcastically for publicising the I.N.D.I.A. bloc’s November 1 rally against alleged vote theft at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday sarcastically thanked the BJP and its allies for promoting the I.N.D.I.A. bloc's November 1 rally against alleged vote theft, saying they had helped publicise the event.
The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha alleged that people's votes were being stolen and asserted that the Opposition would not remain silent.
"Names have been struck off the electoral rolls. Rules and laws have been flouted. And those who dared to ask questions were met with batons. Now, the nation will provide an answer," Gandhi said in a Hindi post on X.
Calling upon students, farmers, labourers, women, youth and traders to join the "Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao" rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, he said, "The vote is yours. The fight is also yours."
Taking a swipe at the BJP, Gandhi added: "PS: A heartfelt thank you to the BJP and its allies for promoting this event so enthusiastically and ensuring its call reaches as many people as possible."
He urged the ruling party to maintain the same enthusiasm for the next seven days.
The remarks came a day after BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad criticised the Congress for scheduling the rally on November 1, the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
Prasad alleged that Gandhi was rubbing salt into the wounds of riot victims and claimed that several INDIA bloc constituents wanted the event rescheduled.
Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal described the rally as the party's biggest protest against alleged vote theft.
Opposition leaders also plan to hold a symbolic "public impeachment" of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at a mock Parliament on October 30.
