Rs 1.43 Crore Health Centre To Come Up In Rajanna Sircilla

The MLA also lauched the development and beautification works of the temple town and bund development works from Tippapur Bus Stand to the check dam

WARANGAL: Government Chief Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas accompanied by the district collector Sandeep Kumar Jha laid the foundation stone for the construction of an Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) at a cost of Rs 1.43 crore here at Shatrajpalli in Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas said that the government has sanctioned the funds for the hospital long before any formal requests and proved its commitment towards the welfare of the people. Additionally, the government has also allocated Rs 12 lakh for the construction of a side drain in the area, he pointed out.

The MLA also launched the development and beautification works of the temple town and bund development works from Tippapur Bus Stand to the check dam. All the works are taken up at a cost of Rs 80 lakh and aimed to create a pleasant environment in the Vemulawada town.

Aadi Srinivas said that the government is focused on the development of the Rajanna temple area, in part of that several review meetings had already been conducted with senior officials. Under the guidance of the Sringeri Peetham, the temple development plans were designed and the works are taking place in accordance. Special measures are also being taken to prevent sewage water from entering the Rajanna temple tank, he added.

District collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that the health centre was sanctioned due to the personal initiative taken by the government chief whip and MLA Aadi Srinivas and instructed officials to ensure timely completion of the project.
