New Governors Appointed for 2 States, 1 UT: Ashok Gajapati Raju for Goa

New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu appointed new Governors to two states and one Union Territory. TD senior leader and former Union minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju was appointed as Governor of Goa, Ashim Kumar Ghosh as Governor of Haryana and Kavinder Gupta as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh (Union Territory).

According to a communique from the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday, in addition to the three appointments, Murmu also accepted the resignation of Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) as Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
