THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress (M) is heading for a near wipe-out in the assembly elections, with the party leading only in one of the 12 seats it contested.

However, KCM's political rival Kerala Congress (Joseph), which is with the UDF, is leading in seven constituencies.
