‘CM, CM’ Slogans Annoy KTR, Says Nothing Can Be Done Now

BHONGIR: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao was distressed by slogans of “CM, CM,” at MLC poll-related meetings at Choutuppal in Nalgonda district.

“What is the use of raising such slogans after the BRS defeat,” he asked. He pointed out that the party had lost all but one Assembly seats in the undivided Nalgonda district. “What can we do now, if the Congress is acting against the people after winning in the elections.”

He was addressing meetings for the May 27 graduates constituency bypoll in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda constituency for party candidate A. Rakesh Reddy.

Rakesh Reddy was missing in both the meetings at Nakrekal and Choutuppal, which raised eyebrows in the district. Rama Rao claimed that the candidate was electioneering in Khammam district.

Rama Rao asked the graduate voters to not vote for the Congress it had not kept its promises. Of the Six Guarantees, the Revanth Reddy government had only implemented the free bus travel for women. Listing out what he called failed promises, Rama Rao asked the people to vote for the BRS so that the candidate could keep an eye on the government.

Suryapet MLA G. Jagadish Reddy, Zilla Parishad chairman Banda Narender Reddy and the party leaders Karne Prabhakar, Kyama Mallesh, Gadari Kishore and Badugula Lingaiah Yadav also attended the meeting.
