Hyderabad: Congress star campaigner Vijayashanti is likely to contest in the forthcoming Assembly elections from Dubbaka Assembly constituency of Siddipet district.
Vijayashanti has earlier said that she is not going to contest the Assembly elections and will be in race in the Parliament elections.
When approached close associates of Vijaya-shanti they said that there is a probability of contesting the election from Dubbaka constituency, located in erstwhile Medak district under Medak parliamentary constituency, from where she had been an MP from 2009 to 2014.
