Kishan Reddy tells I&B media personnel to use more infographics

The junior minister for home affairs advised I&B personnel to make information on welfare schemes more creative

Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home affairs G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday stressed the importance of using advanced technology to create awareness of the welfare schemes launched by the central government.

Reviewing various activities taken up media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting here in Hyderabad, Kishan Reddy suggested using creative infographics to attract the attention of the common man and feed him comprehensive information on the benefits of government schemes.

Stating that Hyderabad is a hub of national institutes like NPA, NISA, NSG, etc, Kishan Reddy suggested that special programmes on their activities may be broadcast to create more awareness among the public.

The minister released the September edition of Yojana, a magazine published by the Publications Division.

He also witnessed a demonstration on the Digital Media Publicity Van of the Regional Outreach Bureau. DG (South) S. Venkateswar, Deputy Director News(AIR), Dr. Rahul Gowlikar, Deputy Director News(DD) Surekha, AD ROB Dr. Manas Krishnakanth, Yojana, AD P.K. Vandana, among others, attended the
meeting.
