Bengaluru: Former Mayor D. Venkatesh Murthy is embroiled in a yet another Civic Amenity (CA) site encroa chment, worth Rs 15 crore.

BJP city unit president N.R. Ramesh submitted a memorandum cum complaint to the BDA Commissioner G. C. Prakash and demanded to recover the encroached property and initiate stern legal action against the encroacher and the officials who connived with him.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday after submitting the complaint to the BDA commissioner, Ramesh said the two properties measuring 12,000 square feet have been encroached to build Blossom school.

The Right to Information (FIR) reply from the BBMP revenue authorities has proved that the property does not have valid and authorised khata. Further, though the revenue authorities have issued a notice way back in 2017 asking them to furnish the documents within three days, the school authorities never provided any documents, he said.

Since the BDA has agreed that the building is unauthorised and encroached upon, Mr Ramesh has demanded BDA autho rities to seize and recover the property. Further, he also demanded proper action against encroachers and officials who have helped encroacher fabricate documents.
