Popular actor Prudhvi Raj dismissed allegations that he imitated dance steps of Andhra Pradesh Minister Ambati Rambabu in the recent release ‘Bro’ starring Pawan Kalyan. “Somebody asked me, why did I imitate Ambati Rambabu in the film. But I told them that I don’t know anyone named Ambati Rambabu. Besides, he is not an Oscar winning actor to emulate him,” said Prudhvi at a ‘Bro’ promotional event today.
For the last two days, varied media has been showing a few dance steps in a pub by Prudhvi(Syam Babu), along with Ambati’s dance during Bhogi Sankranthi festival in real-life which went viral. “I just followed director Samudrakani’s instructions. He told me that I am playing a hopeless guy who spends time with girls and drinks in a pub, so I danced in that carefree mood,” he adds.
Earlier, responding to this alleged spoof, Ambati Rambabu wrote on Twitter, “Gelichinodi Dance Sankranthi, Vodinodi Dance Kalaratri.” Ambati took a direct dig at Pawan Kalyan and his party’s rout in the last elections.
