Patna: Senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav who is ‘upset’ over Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s sudden decision to leave Grand Secular Alliance and form the government in Bihar with the BJP has been getting regular invitations from Lalu Yadav.
RJD Chief Lalu Yadav told reporters in Patna that he wants Sharad Yadav to join hands with him in his fight against communal forces in Bihar as well as at the national level.
“We share the same ideology and I have asked Sharad Ji to help us wage a war against BJP and communal forces in Bihar and at the national level. We have been talking to each other about the issue”, RJD Chief Lalu Yadav said.
Besides Sharad Yadav, two more JD(U) senior leaders Ali Anwar and Virendra Kumar have voiced strongly against Nitish Kumar’s decision to return to NDA fold.
Sources close to Lalu on Sunday said “Sharad Yadav is in regular touch with Lalu Yadav”.
