Hyderabad: Telangana Congress Legislature Party deputy leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has requested the state government to construct bypass roads to avoid frequent accidents on the Rajiv Rahadari.
Speaking to mediaeprsons on Wednesday he said in recent days many accidents had occurring on the highway which has many turns. He said to avoid such accidents bypass roads should be constructed and for this state government should take responsibility. He said the advice of road safety officials should be taken to minimise accidents.
Mr Sudhakar Reddy said the Kerala government had reduced VAT on petrol and diesel, and demanded the Telangana state government follow suit. If the petrol and diesel prices are not reduced, the Centre and the state government will face people’s anger, he said.
